It is one of the most beautiful city in north of Iran. It is located in Mazandaran province. It borders the Caspian Sea.

Are there any tourist attractions in the Ramsar city?

  • Javaherdeh village: is a beautiful village located 27 kilometers from the city of Ramsar ,at an elevation at 2000 meters on the Alborz Mointain Range. The village is through to have several hundred years of history, and is extremely popular because of its stunning natural scenery, a very unique climate, and historic monuments. In spite of high volume of tourists visiting this village, particularly in the spring and summer seasons, the people of this village have retained their local and native traditions. several steams above the village with beautiful waterfalls, a vast forest park in the valley next to a river with sparkling water and majestic surrounding mountain, offer a mesmerizing experience to visitors (Hossein Raassi).

  • Museum Palace Ramsar: this palace is known Marmar Palace, Marble Palace, and Ramsar Royal Palace. It is one of the historical building in Ramsar .This palace was established on a land of 60,000 square meters in 1973 and was used as a summer residence by Reza Shah and then by his son,Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and his second spouse Sorayya Esfendiari spent their honeymoon in the palace.

  • Aramesh Shopping centre: the biggest and the most equipped shopping centre in Mazandaran province.

  • Ramsar Cable Car complex: It is a part of a paradise on the earth that begins with a green and dreamy route alongside the Caspian seashore heated by the golden sunshine, and protrudes through the broad-leaf forest to reach the high peaks of Alborz Mountains.

  • Markoh Mountain: the history of this mountain came back to many years ago. The peak of this mountain was a place for observational that Military Soldiers could protect of their territory.

  • Dulkhani Forest: this is a wonderful forest. It is located at 30km of south east of Ramsar in rural district of Chehel Shahid. The Dalekhani Jungle, also referred to as the Paradise Corridor, in various articles and books, has a hill road that you will find yourself in a cloud of clouds and vast volumes of greenery and vegetation, The climate in this area is always heavenly and cool, the trees have created cool shadows, the fog is everywhere, and they have dreamy landscapes. If you love jungle fruits, be sure to roam around.
